The new m.unit blue is an improved version of the tried and true m-unit by undergoing significant development and improvements. This enables the m.unit blue to be connected to our 'm.ride'. The m.unit blue must have an accelerometre to detect movement and thus recognize and record start / stops of a certain duration and determine that's a "trip." But I don't think the m.unit blue has a GPS.
